As mentioned earlier, EA sometimes mislabels playbooks by style so you will see some labeled differently on this page and hopefully, more accurately.

Formations & Sets

Use the first table to see which playbooks have which formations and sets. Use the second table to see set counts.

Personnel

Use this table to see which and how many personnel (PSL) groupings are used in every playbook. Personnel grouings is a two-digit number system that tells how many running backs (first digit) and tight ends (second digit) a formation/set has. For example, “11” means a formation/set with 1 RB and 1 TE. This also means it has 3 WRs.

Wildcat (WILD) and Heavy (HVY, extra linemen) have their own personnel groupings. Some formations in the game might be named “…3TE” for example, but might be a 12 PSL formation as several playbooks use non-default sub-packages.

The Variety (VAR) column shows how many types of personnel groupings each playbook has. The higher the number, the more variety. Lastly, Goal Line (32 PSL), Hail Mary (11 PSL), Clock Management (21 PSL), and QB Kneel (32 PSL) are not accounted for in the table as most playbooks have them.
