For those who love empty formations in College Football 26, you should check out the South Carolina Power Spread playbook. It has three empty formations:
- Gun Empty Bunch
- Gun Empty Chips
- Gun Empty Y-Flex
The most unique of the three is Gun Empty Bunch, the only playbook in the game that has it.
It has nine plays. Two plays are QB runs with one being a Draw and the other a QB Crack Sweep is very rare but fun. The rest are dropbacks that attack all areas of the field. Quick, Medium, and Deep are all represented.
Perhaps the strangest play is Curl Flats. It’s hard to create a curl-flat combo from a bunch alignment so close to the line. But as you can see above, the curl on the right slants out some. It’s essentially a Spot concept due to the corner route above that curl. Z Spot is in here too if you need a more inward curl.
I can see plenty of gamers using this since compressed formations are all the rage in modern football gaming, but there is enough here in this set to do some serious damage to a defense.
