Insert Concept – College Football 27

“Insert” plays are designed to have someone (usually a tight end) run up the A-gap as a blocker for the HB. These are fun if Inside Zone is one of your base run concepts and always wanted a lead blocker that isn’t a fullback as all these plays are from the Gun.

As the image below shows, there are only nine plays in the game, but several playbooks have one or more. Seven are runs and the other two are pass plays. Also below is the link to see which playbooks have them.
